Foundations in Community Development School (FCD)

Foundations in Community Development & Field Assignment (IDC/SAT 321/322)
Prerequisite: IDS 701 & 702 or IDS 703 & 704
Credits: 12-24

The Foundations in Community Development School helps to equip workers to utilize new and innovative ways to bring God's eternal solutions to the lives of hurting people where they live.

Goal: Our goal is to help people who are motivated by their needs, to initiate and accomplish small but strategic activities or projects that move them towards God's will for them. To enable students to take up a facilitator's role with these people, the school integrates principles, techniques, and skills from many disciplines and perspectives. This style of ministry allows the love of God and the Gospel to be made tangible & relevant to the realities of life.

Who is the FCD for?

The Foundations in Community Development School is for anyone who has successfully completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and has a heart to see transformation take place in communities in need.

How much is this going to cost me?

We base our school costs on the Per Capita Income (PCI) of each nation. This allows us to cover school costs and make our schools affordable to students from various countries. To find out the costs for each phase of the school, please follow the links to the left.
