Homes Of HopeThe Vision The Homes of Hope program (HOH) at YWAM San Jose was birthed in early 2010, with the desire to meet people's basic necessities & enable them to lead productive lives. Not only do we want to meet their physical needs, but their spiritual needs as well. We believe that working alongside the local church we can disciple & transform not only individual families, but entire communities! As we reach out to meet their need of adecuate housing, we will partner with the local church to ensure their growth toward a more fulfilling life as they learn to develop healthy relationships & proper day to day choices in life. We want to invite you to come & partner with us in this exciting journey! HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUILD A HOUSE?
It may surprise you to know that you can build a home impacting the life of a family & the future of a community for such a low cost! We also have an optional Home Furnishing Kit available if you'd like to help provide some basic furnishings the family will need to get them started! CONSTRUCTION FEE: $6,500 USD (This covers the cost of all materials & tools to build the house) OPTIONAL HOME FURNISHING KIT: $1,300 USD (This will provide the family with a stove, double bed, a bunk bed, dining room set with four chairs & some other smaller items the family may need - this will vary by family.) **If you choose to add the Home Furnishing Kit, we need to know 10 weeks before your arrival to make all the proper arrangements.** For more information on how you can get involved: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
