New YWAM San Jose Property

Dear Friends,

It is with great excitement that I write to you today!!

Five years ago we embarked on a new adventure when we opened the doors to a new ministry of Youth With A Mission here in San Jose, Costa Rica. We were just a hand full of people and my wife was pregnant with our second child.

We rented a 4 bedroom house where we all lived together. It was the beginning and the birthing of something new.

Now 5 years later we find ourselves on the move. The "family" has extended to more than 35 staff & 15 children. This year we'll be running 8 training schools & mobilizing hundreds of youth.

A few months ago we started our search for a new location. After much prayer and looking around God has brought us to an old coffee processing building from the 1930's that has been used the last few years as a private University. A lot of work has to be done and finances need to be raised to complete the renovations, especially by next year when Youth With A Mission is celebrating it's 50th anniversary around the world & the celebration for Central America will be held here on our new property.

We want to invite you to come & celebrate with us God's faithfulness in these years of ministry of YWAM in Central America and in our YWAM San Jose family. Mark these dates on your calendar to visit with us, August 8-10, 2010. This event is intended to be celebrated with you, YWAM alumni & friends of YWAM. During these days we will have YWAM Founders Loren & Darlene Cunningham and other international YWAM leaders with us.
