Johan and Elcy Simarra

Johan did his DTS in Bogota, Colombia and has served in YWAM for 4 years Elcy did her DTS in Cartagena, Colombia, and has served in YWAM for 5 years. Both took their school of Foundations in Community Development (FDC) in San Jose, Costa Rica, Elcy in 2008 and Johan in 2009, as staff they have served in YWAM Colomnia, Mexico and Costa Rica.

They have a passion to see communities transformed THROUGH community development  and being influential in the local church, mobilizing youth Latin American missionaries to the world.

During their service in Costa Rica they have felt God's call to serve in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and their vision to build a long term YWAM Base in that region of country.

At present, we strongly support a project the will give a bible to every home in Costa Rica (Bibles For Costa Rica)

Johan and Elcy are a young couple that has begun a new stage as school staff in Foundations in Community Development.
